We’re Felix and Sheryl. Partners in life, educators by trade, and planners of something bold and beyond exciting.

We’re in our early 50s, madly in love, fueled by passion, and deeply committed to living with purpose. After years of working in education, raising incredible kids, and doing the “right” things, we finally started asking ourselves a different question: What would it look like to live freely, on our terms, while we still have our energy, health, and curiosity?

This site is part journal, part roadmap, and part reminder that reinvention is not only possible, it’s worth pursuing. We’re not influencers and we’re not financial advisors. We’re just an enthusiastic couple navigating the in-between, not yet retired, not yet nomadic, but actively building the life we envision.

We believe in intention over impulse (although our nature sometimes has us invert those two ;), depth over speed, and in documenting our process because we understand how valuable it is to document and share the journey. We also believe in good playlists, rich conversations over well-crafted cocktails, and learning from those who’ve gone before us.
